Welcome to Ibn Qayyim Academy and we thank you for considering our school for enrolment into the next academic session (2022/2023). Admission is opened to Sciences , Humanities and Arts classes. We know that choosing the right school for both you and your child is an important decision and it is not one that any parent takes lightly.
In order to enroll your child or children at IQ Academy please follow the steps described below; Students must have successfully completed their previous grade level to be placed in the next grade level in IQ Academy when the Academic Year starts in September, 2022.
Applications will only be considered once the application fee has been paid. Application Form: IQ ACADEMY Application Form consists of five sections;

Please make sure you have all the details ready before starting to fill in the form fully. if there are any gaps in your application, this will slow the admissions process down.
During filling out the form you will need to upload a student photo and a bank statement showing payment of the application fee. IQ ACADEMY Application Form for new students can be filled online ( link to Google form) Documents Required (hard copies): After filling form, kindly bring the following documentation to the Admissions Office in person.
Report Cards and/or transcripts for the last 2 years of schooling. Student photo (passport size which has been taken within the last 6 months) Bank statement showing payment of the application fee. Is IQ Academy registered?

IQ Academy is registered as a corporate body with registration number. The process is ongoing to be fully registered under the Ministry of Education and as a Cambridge Centre. We are, however, an approved centre for International Online University where our students from JSS1 sit for Diploma Course in Foundation of Knowledge from the University.

What kind of curriculum does IQ Academy run?

IQ Academy runs a flexible curriculum. Majorly a blend of curriculum for EYFS and Primary School. For Lower and Higher Secondary , we run a full Cambridge Curriculum. We, however, introduce students to specific aspects of Nigerian Curriculum to pass such exams like NECO common entrance, BECE, WAEC, GCE.

Is IQ Academy a science-only school?

IQ Academy is a school for Science, Humanities (Arts) and Social Sciences (Commercial) students. Every student benefits from acquiring the Tech Skills.

What examinations do our students sit for?

Students in the school officially writes the Cambridge Checkpoint and IGCSE at Grade 9 (JSS 3) and Grade 11(SSS 2). At Grade 5/6, Cambridge Primary School Examination is the exam. Parents who prefer in addition or solely the Nigerian examinations will be supported to achieve this.

What are the school hours?

School hours for the students are from 7:30 5:30 for Day students. We recommend that students arrive at 7:10 in order to participate in daily Spelling Bee drills and also to have time to organise themselves for the day ahead. Day students are required to come on Saturdays for Tech Programmes.

Is there bus service from the school?

Yes, bus service is available for specific routes.

What are the qualifications of the teachers?

Our teachers are not only qualified certificate-wise, they are actually competent and compliance with 21st century standards. Aqeedah, morals , ethical dressing are the major consideration in employing a Teacher, followed by actual skills. We have Teachers who are Degree holders in relevant fields. Few of our teachers are undergoing their PhD programmes.

Is there Hostel provisions?

Yes, there are segregated and secured boarding facilities for male and female students.

What extracurricular activities do students engage in?

ScreeTime, Leisure Walk, Educational Games, Outdoor Playing all provide breaks at regulated intervals for careful relaxation.
